We give here some of the comments of our guests.
I had an incredible time in Delhi - and this was largely owing to my wonderful hosts. My room was perfect - clean and comfortable and the house is in a lovely area. You are simply spoiled here. The food is excellent and amplified by great conversation. I was given very helpful advice on the sights to see, and had an excellent shopping partner in Mrs Dutt (who really knows how to haggle!).
I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Delhi.

After staying in a hotel in Karol Bagh for 4 days, coming to Homestay29 was like finding water in a desert. This family is so welcoming and make you feel right at home. The breakfasts are wonderful (be sure to try the homemade guava jam). The room I stayed in was very large with plenty of room for my personal belongings. There was a cabinet that locked, so I always felt like my important things were safe. The family is also very knowledgeable about the best places to go in Delhi (and all of India), and politics as well. So when you come down for your free breakfast in the morning be ready to learn! I would definitely stay here on a return trip to Delhi.

I stayed at Homestay29 for a week and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms where very spacious and food was excellent. The hospitality and friendliness from Mr & Mrs Dutt made the stay very comfortable. It was just like staying at home (though away from home). Would love to visit and stay there again.

Mr. & Mrs. Dutt are great hosts and conversationalists. They are quick to answer any questions and assist with any concerns. While you stay make sure to take advantage of their wonderful cooking.
The house was very well kept and comfortable and is located in a great part of Delhi. The room I stayed in was spacious and pleasant. I stayed for 6 weeks and I would absolutely recommend it if you are in New Delhi.

What a find! This is the best place I’ve stayed in my five trips to Delhi. The room is spacious, comfortable, spotless and quiet. The tasteful house is located on a quiet, pleasant street near to shops, restaurants and banks, and walking distance to the metro. The hosts are kind, gracious and great conversationalists on a huge range of topics. The breakfast is substantial and the home cooking is fabulous. Unbeatable value and when I return to Delhi this is where I’ll want to stay.
Comfortable, quiet, helpful, & great food.

The Dutts will provide a home away from home for anyone staying at Homestay29. I found the room in their home to be warm and more than the bare essentials that were provided at the other places I stayed while in Delhi. They will really make you feel at home, from friendly and engaging conversation at meals, to the delicious food itself, and their welcome advice for exploring the city. They will also respect your space and maintain everything in working order. While staying with them, I found that they would quickly and carefully address any problems I raised, including a malfunctioning water heater which they had fixed mere hours after I mentioned that it wasn't working properly. They will also help you find a footing in their neighborhood and in Delhi more generally, from suggesting shops whose owners they know to getting you invited to cultural events in the neighborhood. Further, the neighborhood around their home is relatively quiet, clean, and a pleasure to explore, from the nearby Rose Garden to Deer Park, Hauz Khas Village, Hauz Khas Market, and Aurobindo Place. This area of South Delhi provides plenty of opportunities to encounter historic architecture and to take a deep breath in respite from the hubbub of much of Delhi's megacity. In short, Mr & Mrs Dutt will help to make your stay in Delhi a comfortable, adventurous, and unforgettable experience.
Thanks again for helping me out while I was in Delhi!

Staying at your home has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. You have gone out of your way to ensure I was comfortable in every way. I feel at home here. The room is large, bright and comfortable, and the entire house is never anything less than spotlessly clean. In addition the food is consistently of an excellent quality, and always varied. I have enjoyed food from all over India, cooked in an authentic manner, not to mention Chinese and western foods from time to time. You also possess plentiful resources of local knowledge of customs, culture, politics, architecture, art, cookery (of course) and tradition.

Thank you so much for everything you've done for me during the last four months. You've made me feel so much at home here. You've been warm and welcoming with lots of good food and conversation, to be able to ask questions and have different things explained and introduced to me. I will definitely miss both the comforts and conversations I've had here.
